Did you know WEF was founded in 2012? The Nexen Group generously offered a $25,000 fund match for the first three years to get us off the ground. Jim Olson is the only original board member currently on the Foundation.

Our very first Taco BINGO was 9 years ago and since then, the event has brought in a total of $226,248.90 of income!

Our golf event has grossed $172,761.82 since inception!  (This year, August 7th, will be our 13th year.)

Let’s Talk Taco BINGO!

On Saturday, April 11th, WEF hosted the 9th Annual Taco BINGO event in the MS/HS gymnasium.  It was the biggest, and arguably the best, event we have ever had!  WEF estimates that there were over 700 people in attendance.  Thanks to the most amazing community support, about $20,000 in prizes were awarded that night! The evening started with a wonderful taco dinner prepared by Briana Arnal and our wonderful Webster School kitchen staff.  Cheese for the Tacos was donated by Burnett Dairy Cooperative, and the dinner was sponsored by Earth Energy, Mallard Lake Resort and Yellow River Pharmacy. Then, every kiddo under the age of 12 won a fun prize from our free drawing. BINGO started at 6:00 and there were over 60 Bingo prizes (including 5 of our famous flamingos) and over 70 raffle prizes were awarded to the crowd! A great time was had by all!!

Next Up:

As our 2025-26 school year ends, we just want to be sure that we tell you one more time, how much we appreciate the incredible support this wonderful community has given to this organization and our students in the Webster District.  It is no small thing to give kids these opportunities to grow and excel.  Thank you all!
